The above graphic shows the standing of every part of the brain when processing sound. However, all views of a similar nature are on display . Some folks believe that the mind is mostly responsible for language processing. They assume that this brain region is responsible for interpreting sounds and transmitting messages from person to person. The first type of the opinion of music processing is known as synchronistic: sound-to-language version. This version says that language is transmitted via the ear and if we understand a language it's possible to understand the meaning of the sound. The second opinion is that sounds are in reality sound. We then state that sounds are notsound because they're in fact a noise. This may be seen from hearing a phrase forsound such asbuzzing. Noise has no significance. It's simply sound. The third opinion is that the brain has an audionoise processing mechanism. It contrasts sounds and determines whether they are meaningful or not. This view claims that all sounds could be translated to mean something. The fourth perspective of audio processing is that the brain is not in control of what is being played. It just knows how to perceive matters. Someone could be able to hear and interpret sounds however, the brain can not really perceive anything, what'sjust sound. This view says that our mind only perceives those items which are meaningful. Music therapy is often practiced where the individual is played simple or intricate parts of music by an ear, or a trained artist that also aids the patient. This helps the patient to adapt to the music and to locate the inherent meaning. By altering the sounds, the individual will learn how to recognize unique meanings and so be able to talk about and understand their experiences. All these views is valid in some way. The following diagram shows where the brain's ability to store and recall the information is saved in the brain. When we learn a new piece of music that the brain immediately adds fresh connections from the new info to areas in the brain related to audio processing. Due to the utter sophistication of audio processing in the mind there's no one answer to the question, where's music processed from the brain? There are lots more views on music processing than could be recorded here.
